What is Evergreen State Heat & AC’s 100%, 30-Day Money Back Guarantee?

This is one of the biggest investments you’ll make as a homeowner, and for many, one of the most stressful.  Our goal is to remove the risk and concern of both the investment and the installation experience.

What is Evergreen’s 100% Money Back Guarantee?

In this article we’ll explain exactly what our guarantee covers, how it works, and how it’s meant to give you confidence:

Table of Contents:

What is Evergree’s 100% Money back Guarantee?

  • If we fail to deliver on the agreed upon job scope, we’ll make it right. If you are still not satisfied within 30 days of completion, we’ll refund your money in full. We want you to feel fully in control and comfortable with the process from start to finish.
  • It covers our workmanship and any potential scope issues. Within 30 days of completion, if there is an issue with our quality of work, or we miss anything we promise to do, we’ll fix it at no charge. If we cannot resolve it, you will get your money back.
  • We take every concern seriously. We will never dodge your calls and have an open and honest conversation to make it right (and within reason and in line with the original scope).
  • No legal red tape. We are a local family business, there is no ‘claims department’ and no delays in getting a response.

Has anyone had to use this guarantee?

  • In one home we replaced four gas furnace & heat pumps after smoke damage from a mechanical room fire at no charge. We offered not to charge them and remove the units and allow another contractor to complete the installation, they wanted us to redo the job and we did.  Gave us a 5-star review for our efforts to make it right.
  • On another home we replaced the outdoor unit which had ‘American Standard’ branding with an identical unit that had ‘Trane’ branding.
  • In both cases we fell short and came up with a solution that satisfied the customer.
  • While in these cases we did not have to fully refund the money, they needed heat and cooling and trusted us to make things right with brand new systems. Had they desired we would have given them their money back and removed the installed units for another contractor to complete the installation.  We believe the right thing to do is to make sure the customer feels 100% that they are treated with honor and respect.

Is this guarantee the same as a warranty?

  • The 100% money back guarantee is designed to give you peace of mind at the start of the project. We’ll fix it within reason or refund your money in full.  It’s about immediate trust and accountability.
  • Our up to 10-Year labor warranty is about covering all your normal labor costs concerning wear and tear of a mechanical system, provided there is annual preventive maintenance on the units involved.

What happens when guarantee is enacted and buyer does not want our system?

  • In this case the homeowner will want another provider to install a different system that they can warrant.
  • We will work with the homeowner and new provider to find a date to remove the system we installed in a way to minimize hassle or the home without heat or cooling.
  • Upon unit removal we will immediately credit the homeowner for any deposits.

Confidently Planning your new HVAC system installation

  • The best way to get started is to have a system inspection and customer review. We have a team of HVAC technicians who can do an existing system review to see if repairs are in order or replacement is necessary.  If you know for sure you want a new system due to comfort reasons or changes in your home, we can send over a Home Comfort Consultant to review some options.
